NAPLES, FLORIDA (DATE) — Dr. Dan Sturdevant, Head of School at Optima Academy Online, the first public classical virtual reality school, is speaking at the first HyFlex Collaborative Conference on June 26, 2023.
Dr. Dan Sturdevant applied to speak at the HyFlex Collaborative Conference and was selected from a competitive pool of applicants by the review board. The overarching theme of this conference is education choice and accessibility, closely aligning with OptimaEd’s mission.

Dr. Dan Sturdevant received his Master’s in Liberal Studies from Duke University and later achieved a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina. He has been OAO’s Head of School since 2021, and he gave two keynote addresses at the OptimaEd Classical Education Conference in 2022.
HyFlex Collaborative Conference and Pre-Conference are delivered synchronously via Zoom and asynchronously online. The Pre-Conference is free and open to all. Sponsors include Hyflex Collaborative and AATLAS, School of Education and University at Albany.
