A Virtual Reality Public Charter School, the Optima Classical Academy is the only program of its type in the world. This tuition-free choice opened in Fall 2022 and provides a classical curriculum and virtual reality learning opportunities for Florida students in grades 3-8. Grades will be added each year to reach grade 12. Programs enable students to enroll in full-time school or choose the OPTI single courses. These options are also a resource for families preferring to homeschool their children and provides the advantages of a proven, classical curriculum.

The virtual realm is completely immersive, and improves a student’s understanding, tapping into new ways of keeping learners engaged, focused and motivated.
