Estero, FL (Dec. 13, 2022) –OptimaEd, an education leader in traditional and virtual learning, announces the opening of a new tuition free public charter school in Estero with classes to begin in the fall of 2023.

The academy is currently accepting applications for the student selection lottery by applying online at or emailing Parent information meetings will soon be announced.

The academy, located at 17660 Corkscrew Road, is a public charter school delivering a classical education model and the time-tested liberal arts and sciences Hillsdale College curriculum. Starting with K-8 in its inaugural 2023-24 academic year, the school plans to add grades each year to reach Grade 12. The academy is tuition free and managed by OptimaEd under contract with the Lee County School District. It is open to all children regardless of income or zip code. Uniforms are worn ensuring that training students’ hearts and minds remain the focus each day.

The fifth brick and mortar classical school opened by Optima Ed, Optima Classical Academy at Estero, will feature a state-of-the-art school facility, sports field, as well as a future gymnasium.
